| We had a BAOBAB BLAST! |
The children had a Blast being part of a community and engaging in Loving, Sharing, Trusting, Following and Caring. Each day represented one of the the above keywords, a Bible verse and story, and an animal. We all loved reading about the giraffe, meerkat, zebra, monkey, and especially Budd the Elephant!! Fact: A Baobab tree is an amazing self-contained community! It provides shelter, food, and water for animals and people of the African Savannah. Some of the oldest trees actually hollow out and have enough room inside for people to gather! Thank you to everyone who volunteer! You made Baobab Blast a huge success!! **A special Thanks to Pete Erbland and Laura, Caty and Sarah Crain for creating such a realist African savannah. The Awesome Baobab tree in the chapel made the whole week even more fun!! |
