In a fraught political climate, engagement across difference feels futile and foolish. But Jesus calls his followers to choose–and love-one another. What do we do with that? This eight-week course will consider the challenges of talking about politics, placing the focus not on political issues but on our posture when we approach them. By examining settled mindsets and habits, participants will search for a Christ-like way of being that can allow us to bear with one another in hope, courage, and humility.
