How we want to die may be the most important and costly conversation our culture isn’t having.
How you die matters. It matters to you, as you experience the transition from this life to the eternal. It matters to your loved ones, as they carry forward your wishes and legacy.
On three Wednesdays this November, we will discuss death over dinner. As we eat, we’ll consider questions like:
- If you suddenly learned you had an hour left to live, who would you call and what would you want to tell them?
- Have you ever witnessed an end-of-life experience that felt beautiful or peaceful? What made it feel “right”?
- If you became critically ill and couldn’t speak for yourself, who do you trust completely to make medical decisions for you?
After dinner, we’ll have brief presentations about the following:
- Wednesday, November 4: Advance Care Directives
- Wednesday, November 11: Planning Funerals Before Death
- Wednesday, November 18: Estate Arrangements
